I am a plant physiologist who uses that knowledge to develop tests for farmers that work. Success stories so far are the protein prediction test helping milling wheat farmers to decide whether they should add late Nitrogen fertiliser; the malate:sulphate test to determine Sulphur deficiency in crops; the CF NMin test which measures Soil Mineral Nitrogen in Soils and the determination of Additionally Available Nitrogen through mineralisation. A specialist in soil and plant laboratory methods related to crop nutrition and a skilled analyst in ICP, IC, FIA, CE analyser, AAS and tN/NH3 analyser. Director of Hill Court Farm Research.
