Dr Toby Waine Head's the Applied Remote Sensing Group at Cranfield University. He specialises in vegetation monitoring across scales, from country-wide yield assessment by satellite, through to in-field assessment of crop and soil health. Currently he's exploring how mixed crop systems might improve resilience to climate change, using models that can be adapted in near-real time with remote sensing.
