Starting with an introduction to the basics of soil structure and compaction, Philip will then conduct an in-field practical demonstration on how to assess your own soils with a spade and the effect of different tillage techniques on the soil profile.
The events start at 10am and finish at 3pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
This event is free to attend but attendees must first be registered with ADAS for the Defra Future Farming Resilience Fund scheme.
