The effects of traffic management systems on the yield and economics of crops grown in deep, shallow and zero tilled sandy loam soil over eight years.
Crop yields from zero tillage practices improve with time. Controlled traffic farming increases crop yields. Low inflation pressure (high flexion) tyres improve crop yields for deep tilled soil. CTF and LTP systems can be cost effective for farms less than150 ha.
