Jack is a soil scientist at Cranfield University with expertise in soil data, mapping and modelling; soil health and soil policy. She works closely with interdisciplinary researchers, farmers and the agricultural sector.
Jack currently leads the Soil Informatics group and the LandIS team at Cranfield University, who are responsible for the national soil data for England and Wales (http://www.landis.org.uk). She is President of the British Society of Soil Science (BSSS) https://soils.org.uk/.
